Chippendale Birdcage Candle Stand Believed
to be made in Newburyport, MA. It is solid Mahogany with a Chestnut turn shaft
(top of the pillar over which the birdcage sits), which is consistent with New England
origin. It bears a very strong resemblance to John Goddard tables from Newport, RI. Ca.
